There's a new Wedding Venue in town called The Barn at Rock Creek.  It is located just a stones throw away from Wilmington in the town of Leland.  I know it will be a hit with Brides looking for a rustic but chic wedding theme.  I was able to capture some of the magic at a recent open house event.  I cant wait to shoot a wedding in this beautiful spot. Take a look at what these amazing vendors put together for the open house.

The Wedding of Del and Sarah

Holden Beach, North Carolina

Reverend:  LeeAnn Politas

Photography: Bryce Lafoon Photography

On July 3, 2014 I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Del and Sarah at Holden Beach, NC.  What was extra special about this day was Hurricane Arthur decided to attend the wedding too!  He brought with him big wind and surf that prevented a traditional beach wedding but he didn't put a damper on the love and celebration of their wedding day.  They displayed a paper crane tradition that was so beautiful and unique. And they will forever have great memories, as very few people can say they were married during a hurricane. I'd say that has to be good luck.  Check out some of my favorite shots.

On a recent trip to Virginia, I explored an abandoned gas power plant.  Here are a few of my favorite pics from my adventure:
